About this Event
Join us for North Vancouver’s first Step Up for Ostomy walk!
This welcoming community event brings together people living with an ostomy, their families, friends, healthcare professionals and supporters to raise awareness, build connection and show that life with an ostomy can still be full, active and meaningful.
We’ll meet at Waterfront Park near Goldsworthy Pier and walk together along Vancouver’s beautiful Spirit Trail. The walk is approximately 2 km and all ages and abilities are welcome—you do not need to have an ostomy to participate.
There is no fundraising minimum, but we encourage everyone joining us to make a donation or join our team and create their own fundraising page for Ostomy Canada Society.
Funds raised help support programs and services for Canadians living with an ostomy, including the Ostomy Canada Youth Camp, Visitor Program, education, advocacy, awareness initiatives and community support.
