Step Out: Fresh Air & Relaxed Networking for Business Leaders in Harrogate
Step away from your inbox, lace up your boots and start your Friday in the open air.
Step Out is a monthly morning netwalk co-hosted by Artus Digital and Harrogate District Chamber of Commerce. Held on the second Friday of every month, it offers a relaxed, informal space to make new connections, catch up with peers and get moving before the workday begins.
Walking side-by-side naturally takes the pressure off business conversations - no awkward pitches and no forced intros - just honest dialogue and good company.
How the Morning Works:
- 08.45 am : Meet at the main bottom entrance of Valley Gardens (what3words: brings.beam.wishes). Arrive early to grab a coffee from one of the nearby independent cafés.
- 09.05 am: We set off through Valley Gardens and the Pinewoods toward RHS Harlow Carr.
- 10.00 am: We return to the starting gates, leaving you ready to tackle the rest of your day.
The Goal: Aim to talk to four people on the walk - two on the way out, and two on the return leg.
Essential Details:
- Cost: Free (open to all local business owners, leaders and team members).
- Weather Policy: Rain or shine, we walk! Please dress for the British weather and wear suitable outdoor footwear (we stick to established paths, but they can be a little muddy).
- Parking: Disc parking is available along Cornwall Road and Valley Drive (note: one side of Valley Drive offers 3-hour parking, the other offers 1-hour). Parking discs are available from many nearby shops.
