Steeped in Service: Veterans Appreciation High Tea brings Veterans and community members together for a three-course dining experience centered on hospitality, conversation, recognition, and service.

And don't let the words High Tea make you think you need to arrive in formal attire. High Tea traditionally refers to a substantial meal served with tea. Our interpretation combines a full three-course menu with attentive tableside tea service in a relaxed community setting.

The Three-Course Experience

First Course

Three-Tier Charcuterie Presentation

Prepared by Scott of Graze Craze, each table will receive a shared three-tier presentation to enjoy together.

Second Course

Scratch-Made Creamy Gnocchi & Meatball Soup

Prepared by Chef Direka of Hummingbird Roots & Recipes, accompanied by scratch-made bread and a whipped herb butter flight.

Third Course

Sweet Potato Crostata

Prepared by Jeannette of My Tea Party Bakery.

Guests will also enjoy tableside hot tea service and a self-serve iced herbal tea station provided by My Tea Party.

More Than the Meal

The afternoon will include the recognition of our Featured Honored Veteran and a presentation from Joann Courtland, Director of Operation Stand Down Central Texas, sharing information about the organization's work serving Veterans experiencing homelessness and connecting them with essential resources.
