Hip hop is how we tell our stories, how we find each other, and how we keep our people’s voices alive.November 14, we’re bringing the community together at Warehouse 505 for Stay Wake—a hip hop jam in remembrance of Andrew “Wake Self” Martinez.
All ages. All elements. Bring your family, bring your creativity, bring love for the culture. We’ll have a showcase breaking battle, live mural painting, MC and lyricist performances, live DJ sets, and an open cipher. Whether you’re stepping into the circle or coming to feel the music, you have a place here.
Let’s honor Andrew by making room for each other, expressing ourselves, and keeping the culture growing.
