As AI technology becomes more ubiquitous in schools, workplaces and daily digital life, it is essential that we have the AI literacy skills required to understand how the technology works, ethical issues it raises, and how we can use it to enhance teaching and learning.
AI literacy refers to a blend of knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable learners to engage with AI responsibly, ethically and effectively.
At Stay Smart Online's AI Literacy for the Internet and Social Media, participants will learn how to:
- Understand how generative AI systems work
- Recognise AI content
- Think critically about AI content
- Factcheck and verify AI content
- Be aware of AI bias
- Use AI ethically and responsibly
Please be aware:
- Bookings are required (each person needs a ticket)
- Attendees need to BYO devices, either a smart phone, tablet or laptop computer to complete pre and post session quizzes.
