We are excited to be able to bring you a very special acoustic set from Marlborough based indie-mod rockers Static Moves. We gave them their first ever original set opportunity at last years Shuffle so it is great to be able to work with them on this special event.Having made a name for themselves over the last two and a half years as one of the most engaging party bands on the local circuit, Static Moves have evolved in a new direction, writing and performing original material. With influences such as The Jam/Paul Weller, Shed Seven, Ocean Colour Scene, Oasis and Green Day, they produce a captivating mixture of modern indie rock music delivered with energy and purpose.
Support comes from Shedric, who has been a familiar face on the scene for longer than he might wish to admit, either playing in bands or wielding a guitar in solo mode. Drawing on folk forms and bluesy salvos, he makes effortlessly connective music, which gets into the system via osmosis, bypassing the head, perhaps even the heart and heading straight for the soul. Always entertaining, always exemplary, it’s blues and folk music for people who didn’t even realise they liked blues and folk music.
Music from 8.30pm. Entry free but please do bring some cash for the artists tip-jar to show your appreciation and to help keep music live.
