The City of North Miami Beach Mayor and Commission, in partnership with the Youth Advisory Board, invites you to the State of the Education, an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating students, educators, and families in our community.This special event will highlight educational achievements, provide valuable resources for families, and feature remarks from local leaders and Dr. Jose L. Dotres, Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, explore community resources, and celebrate the power of education in North Miami Beach.
The event will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the City of North Miami Beach Littman Theater, 17011 NE 19th Avenue, North Miami Beach, FL 33162. The Resource Fair will be held from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, followed by the Main Program from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and the Resource Fair will continue from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

This community conversation will highlight priorities, progress, and plans for the future of public education in Miami-Dade County. The City of North Miami Beach invites all residents, parents, educators, and community partners to take part in the upcoming Q&A with Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotres.
