About the Speaker:
Hamid is an IP attorney with 7 years’ experience helping innovators and startups across Australia and New Zealand navigate the complex world of IP.
Specialising in patents, designs and IP strategy, and with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Hamid has seen first-hand the challenges new ventures face when building an IP position that supports growth, attracts investment and creates long-term commercial value.
His experience spans a range of industries, including deep tech, ag-tech, consumer products and more, with a key focus on educating and empowering new ventures to maximise their IP, which can be crucial in the early years when the path to capital & scale is still taking shape.
