About this Event
We're talking about menopause more than ever. But are we getting better at talking about it at work?
Menopause can affect confidence, wellbeing and performance at work. Yet for many people, it remains a difficult conversation to start.
For businesses, the implications go beyond individual experiences. They can affect employee engagement, retention, leadership confidence and workplace culture.
With growing awareness and a changing legal landscape, this is an opportunity for organisations to consider how they support colleagues experiencing menopause.
Join Julie Mellings, Founder of Julie Mellings People & Culture, for a free, interactive one-hour session exploring what menopause means in the workplace and how small, practical actions can make a meaningful difference.
What we'll explore
- The human experience: Understanding menopause and how it can affect people at work.
- The business impact: Why menopause awareness matters for performance, retention and workplace culture.
- The changing legal landscape: Current employer responsibilities and forthcoming developments.
- Starting the conversation: Building confidence to talk about menopause openly and sensitively.
- Practical actions: Simple steps leaders and organisations can take to create more supportive workplaces.
Who should attend?
Business owners, senior leaders, people managers and HR professionals who want to create workplaces where people feel valued, supported and able to thrive.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender or previous knowledge of menopause.
