Ready for business success?
Join BIPC Bristol at Bristol Central Library for Start-Up Day on Monday 17 November for a live screening of inspiring talks with renowned industry leaders, panels of successful entrepreneurs and market experts, broadcast from the British Library.
You can choose what sessions to attend, depending on what times work for you. However, numbers are limited, so booking is required.
During the day, a BIPC Information Specialist will be available for drop-in business & intellectual property enquiries, and staff will be on hand to help you navigate BIPC Bristol’s valuable business electronic resources – Mintel, IBIS World, COBRA, and Kompass EasyBusiness.
Please note that the evening Fireside Chat with fitness entrepreneur Joe Wickes will not be broadcast after library closing time, but you can attend remotely. Contact us at [email protected] for free tickets.

What is your refund policy?
BIPC Bristol events are free, but places are limited and events can be oversubscribed. If you no longer wish to attend the session, when possible please give two working days’ notice by email or cancel on Eventbrite.
Can I attend if I am not a member of the library?
Any Bristol-based business or person with a business idea is welcome, but we always recommend joining the library as it is free and makes our business databases, books, and e-books easy for you to access.
