You are invited to join us, grab a complimentary hot drink, and spend the evening under the darkening sky at the observatory site, situated next to the Pitch & Putt golf course and just off Lighthouse Close in Hunstanton.
Telescopes will be in action for your sky viewing pleasure at this free event, all kindly operated and introduced to you by the Breckland Astronomical Society.
Open from 7:30pm, this time of year is ideal for viewing milky way better in a dark sky, with lots of telescopic distant objects visible and the beautiful planet Saturn.
This informative and illuminating session is run by Breckland Astronomical Society and held at the Hunstanton Observatory on the stunning atmospheric Hunstanton clifftop. A limited amount of free high quality hot drinks are available on-site at the event, supplied by Red Kite Coffee.
Parking is available on the Hunstanton Clifftop Car Park, adjacent to the observatory venue.
An accessible restroom is available at the entrance to the Clifftop Car Park.

Parking and Access:

Please note, the general terrain and access to the observatory is quite flat, though has some uneven areas leading up to the site itself. You may need a torch to light your way when exiting the site on foot. We recommend a red light torch, which minimises bright lights that can affect the sight and operations of the telescopes present on the site.
