About this Event
Experience an unforgettable night of Argentine tango in New York City, bringing together performance, education, social dance, live music, and community in one expanded evening.
Join us for the 4th NYC Edition of Starry Night Tango — a distinctive cultural platform where tango students, teachers, social dancers, and audiences come together through a professionally curated showcase, the launch of our new Milonguero Feedback Lab, a special pre-milonga class, and a vibrant Gala Milonga.
The evening begins with the Starry Night Tango Showcase, featuring students and teachers presenting collective works and Pro-Am pieces in an elegant theatrical setting. The showcase celebrates the art of learning, mentorship, performance, and tango’s cultural transmission.
Following the showcase, we introduce our new Milonguero Feedback Lab: a non-competitive, Tango Pista–inspired experience created for social dancers who want to deepen their tango without performing or competing. Participants will dance in ronda to short musical excerpts and receive private written feedback focused on embrace, connection, musicality, circulation, floorcraft, and interpretation.
The evening continues with a special Pre-Milonga Master Class led by an instructor to be announced, offering dancers an opportunity to refine their movement, connection, and musicality before stepping onto the social dance floor.
The celebration then continues with the Starry Night Gala Milonga, featuring live music by the Maurizio Najt Tango Quartet. Led by renowned pianist Maurizio Najt and featuring Latin Grammy-winning bandoneonist Rodolfo Zanetti, the quartet brings an exceptional live music experience to the social dance floor.
Throughout the milonga, the quartet accompanies both the social dancing and our signature Maestro–Student Rounds, where teachers and participating students share the floor in one of the most vibrant and inclusive moments of the night.
More than an event, Starry Night Tango is a space where performance, education, live music, and social dance come together — connecting artists, students, milongueros, and audiences in one shared cultural experience.

A professionally produced stage presentation featuring students and maestros, highlighting the creative process, mentorship, and the art of learning Argentine tango.
🌀 Tango Lab · 7:30 PM – 8:15 PM
Introducing our new Milonguero Feedback Lab — a non-competitive, Tango Pista–inspired feedback experience for social dancers. Participation in the lab requires separate registration.
💃 Pre-Milonga Master Class · 8:15 PM – 9:00 PM
A special pre-milonga class led by an instructor to be announced, designed to prepare dancers for the social floor with connection, musicality, and movement.
🎶 Starry Night Gala Milonga · 9:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Dance the night away with live music by the Maurizio Najt Tango Quartet — a rare opportunity to experience a tango orchestra in a social dance setting.
The night features our signature Maestro–Student Rounds, where teachers and participating students share the floor, creating one of the most memorable and inclusive moments of the evening.
General Admission
This Eventbrite ticket is for general admission to the evening event.
General admission includes access to the showcase, pre-milonga class, and Starry Night Gala Milonga.
Participation in the Milonguero Feedback Lab requires separate registration and is not included with the general admission ticket.
Participation as a showcase performer also requires a separate application and performer registration.
