With clear skies, we can see several galaxies, star clusters, nebulae, the planets Uranus and Neptune
along with the magnificent ring system of Saturn, which spans 174,000 miles!
We might also catch a glimpse of the International Space Station and some Geminids (meteors)
Bring the whole family along and discover together these magnificent wonders of the sky!
We'll meet at Broompark Picnic area at 6 pm for a gentle evening walk (just under a mile) to our stargazing spot at Abundant Earth. There, you'll be welcomed with warm drinks, soup, and a cozy fireside under our beautiful canvas shelter, ensuring warmth and dryness regardless of the weather.
Please bring warm layers, hats, gloves, and a torch.
Don't worry if the skies aren't so clear we have other ways of introducing to these amazing astronomical bodies in the sky!
