For Veterans and their Families....Join us for Standing Watch: New Bern’s America 250 Salute to Service, Sacrifice & Remembrance on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at VFW Post 2514 in New Bern.Event Timeline
3:00 p.m. — Doors open and check-in
3:30 p.m. — Narrated Military Era Living Timeline featuring live models, uniforms, artifacts and historical displays
4:00 p.m. — National Anthem performed by Sam Lewis, followed by the Missing Man Table ceremony
4:45 p.m. — Dinner followed by Live acoustic music
There will also be a 50/50 raffle and Door Prizes!
This event is free for Veterans and their families, but seating is limited and advance registration is required.
