Did you know? Under the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), establishments are required to have a minimum number of trained First Aiders based on workforce size:
🧍 10–99 workers: 1 First Aider
🧍♂️ 100–199 workers: 2 First Aiders
🧍♀️ 200–500 workers: 3 First Aiders
➕ Every additional 500 workers or fraction thereof: +1 First Aider
This applies across all industries, including:
🍽️ Food Service Establishments
🏢 Professional Service Offices (architectural services, engineering, etc.)
📞 BPOs and Call Centers
🚧 Construction Sites, Warehouses, and more
📜 For industry-specific requirements, refer to the Department Order 252 s. 2025: REVISED IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11058 of the OSHS for full guidelines.
⚠️ Non-compliance has serious consequences! Willful failure or refusal to comply may result in administrative fines of up to Php 100,000 per day—until the violation is resolved.
