Fresh from yet another impressive run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Vietnamese/Australian comedian Thao Cao brings her award-winning show "What Doesn’t K*ll You Makes You Funnier" to Hanoi for her debut on the stages of Vietnam.THE SHOW
What Doesn’t K*ll You Makes You Funnier is Vietnamese-Australian comedian Thao Cao’s wickedly funny 50 min show turning near-death experiences, public racism and a lifetime of relentless name-teasing into stand-up gold.
The show opens with a contamination event and ends with a humanitarian crisis — and somehow, it’s a laugh riot the whole way through. You will laugh, cringe, and see themselves in the madness.
ABOUT THAO CAO🇦🇺🇻🇳
Thao Cao is a Vietnamese-Australian comedian known for turning chaos, close calls and cultural collisions into razor-sharp, deeply personal stand-up. Her stories are as honest as they are hilarious - built from real near-death experiences, everyday racism and a name that’s been mispronounced, mocked and mangled her whole life.
Thao has performed comedy for over a decade in pubs, clubs and festivals all over Australia, Europe and UK and excited to bring her show to Vietnam!
