Steven Farmer is a comedian, filmmaker, actor, and author based in Austin, Texas. After finally escaping Arkansas with a theatre degree from a university better known for agriculture than acting, he began his journey in stand-up comedy, where he has headlined across the United States and Europe. In his first 2 years in comedy, Steven was already opening for comedians such as Greg Warren and Leanne Morgan.
Steven's comedy draws on his crazy experiences growing up in a small Arkansas town, his constant confusion with cultures while traveling, working jobs he had no business (or qualification) doing, and his unique ability to seamlessly switch between accents, impressions, and original characters.
His stand-up comedy clips on social media have gone viral several times, earning millions of views. His comedy sketches on YouTube have won multiple film festival awards around the world and have been featured on RightThisMinute. Steven also does voice-over work for major companies such as PetLab Co., along with several recognizable brands and franchises he's legally not allowed to name (yes, that's actually a thing).
Steven was selected to compete in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition and was a semifinalist in the Boston Comedy Festival. His debut comedy special, Arkansas Refugee, is available on YouTube.
