The second official Sandbox pre-party lands at Stamina this Saturday with techno pioneer Nik Kastel on the headline. Melbourne-based and signed to Dangerous Goods, Kastel has spent the last few years building one of the more internationally credible profiles in Australian techno — HÖR Berlin, Terminal V, Hive Festival and Ultra Australia among his appearances, with releases on Exetra Records and DSR Digital clocking millions of plays worldwide.
A sound built on dark hard techno and psychedelic trance, with saturated kicks and acidic tension that's earned him shared stages with Deborah De Luca, Klangkuenstler, Nico Moreno and AIROD.
Support from North Barton — boasting back-to-back Australian and European tours, with Let Them Eat Cake and Carl Cox's Pure Festival on his resume — alongside RØSAH, PATTO, Stude and Sydney's Klein Rietje.
