4 rides across 4 days. Join for all rides or pick and choose. Book your own accomodation, meet up each evening for drinks and food. We plan to book meals for Friday and Saturday night and then on Sunday night use self catering or Wetherspoons food where we plan to meet for drinks. All rides start on Sheep Market which has The Golden Fleece and The Stamford Post (Wetherspoons) both have indoor and outdoor seating, there are bike racks close by (bring a lock)

Friday, arrive in Stamford and meet for coffee before riding at 1pm, 34 miles with no mid-ride stop (back to Stamford for a quick drink before booking into accomodation) https://ridewithgps.com/routes/57300149 North on quiet roads to Castle Bytham.
Saturday 9.30am https://ridewithgps.com/routes/57299886 The longest ride of the weekend, 58 miles. Quick stop after 30 miles to visit Ye Olde Pie shoppe in Melton Mowbary and then our main stop after 40 miles at Wymondham Windmill. https://wymondhamwindmill.co.uk/ it's then a 20 mile dash for home!

We would expect to be back in Stamford by 1pm to start our journeys home.
For this May trip the ride milage has been dropped slightly to avoid the feeling on being against the clock on long days out. While Stamford is a lovely town with great architecture and hospitality the accomodation is more geared towards self catering, the most cost affective approach is house sharing although individual properties for one are available from £230 for the stay. It's recommended to try to find a property within a mile of the town centre so meeting up for rides and evening hospitality is easy to reach.
Once we have a "guest list" nearer the time we will look into booking evening meals on Friday and Saturday to ensure we can all refuel together.
