Workplace stalking is illegal, unwanted, and repeated attention causing fear or distress, often involving colleagues or ex-partners.
About this Event

Stalking is high risk behaviour that damages individuals and communities. Workplaces are commonly targeted by stalkers, both digitally and in the real world.

Supervisors and managers need to understand what constitutes stalking behaviour and have awareness of the associated threats and risks, which go beyond the intended victim and can impact upon work colleagues and the organisation.

Supervisors and managers need to ensure their business protocols, risk assessments, staff guidance and staff support services include references to stalking awareness.

This session aims to increase awareness of the various forms of stalking, and the practical tips and guidance business managers can take to incorporate spiking awareness and support in their organisations.

Furthermore, attendees will be amongst the first to see a new online stalking awareness toolkit resource to be rolled out across the Birmingham Colmore area for the benefit of its constituent businesses.

The session will be delivered by representatives from The Hollie Gazzard Trust and Birmingham Colmore.

A light lunch will be provided, attendees need to ensure they complete the dietary and allergy questions within the registration process.

Attendance at this free-to-attend event is strictly via this eventbrite link. Attendees must register with a business related email address.

Attendance preference will always be to Birmingham Colmore levy paying businesses.

Registrations from individuals outside the Birmingham Colmore area may be cancelled.
