We are excited to host this new workshop with A Glass Fantasy just in time for holiday gift giving!In this workshop you’ll make your own stained glass trinket tray. You’ll learn all the steps involved in making a 3D stained glass piece, as well as how to work with lead-free solder—a material we haven’t used in any of our other workshops! While lead-free solder is slightly harder to work with and more expensive than regular solder, it allows you to use your tray to hold various items, including jewelry, without the worry of lead contamination.
Registration covers all tools and supplies. Each participant will leave with a finished trinket tray approximately 4”x4”x1.5”. No experience is needed for this workshop.
This class is limited to eight students. Ages 15+. All students will need to sign a waiver prior to taking the course. WEAR SHOES THAT COMPLETELY COVER YOUR FEET. Students in sandals or flip flops will be turned away. Aprons are provided but it's advised to wear clothes that you would craft in. There will be a chance to take a short snack break in the middle of the workshop so please bring something to eat and you can bring non-alcoholic drinks in a covered container.
