Important Information
This workshop is beginner-friendly, but stained glass is a hands-on craft that involves working with real tools, glass, and soldering equipment.
Participants will learn to cut, grind, foil, and solder glass. These activities require attention to detail, patience, and some hand strength and dexterity. As with any workshop involving glass and heated tools, minor cuts and small burns can occur, even when proper safety procedures are followed.
Please come prepared to work in a studio environment similar to a school shop class, makerspace, or laboratory.
Recommended Attire: • Closed-toe shoes are required
• Comfortable clothing that can get dusty
• Long hair should be tied back
• Avoid loose sleeves and dangling jewelry
We strive to make our workshops accessible and are happy to discuss accommodations or modifications when possible.
Prefer to skip the glass cutting portion? Add our Pre-Cut Glass Service (+$15) during registration and we'll have your project pieces prepared and ready when you arrive.
