Join us for our St Thomas Health Walk.A gentle amble around Pinces Gardens, stopping for coffee (own cost) along the way.
A fortnightly walk (2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month), starting at 10.30am, meeting inside the foyer at St Thomas Medical Practice, off Cowick Street.
A Grade 1 walk approx. 30/45 mins walk (all on the flat ground with firm surfaces, no steps or stiles)
This is a great walk if you are on the recovery road following surgery and looking to introduce exercise into your routine or if you are looking to get active, meet new people, or simply enjoy some fresh air, you’ll be made very welcome 💚
Before you come along:
• New walkers: please arrive 10 minutes early to register
• Wear suitable clothing and supportive footwear
• Well behaved dogs are welcome on short leads
• Bring water
• No smoking during walks (these are health walks)
Please note: On very rare occasions, walks may be cancelled due to weather. Walk leaders will always attend the start point to inform participants.
All walkers take part at their own risk.
