About this Event
The Magnificat Meal offers women a chance to share and enjoy one another in an atmosphere of God's presence and love. This meal will provide a buffet served by Saint August Maison, communal praise and worship open to the Charismatic gifts, and personal testimony of guest speaker, Claire Gallagher.
Claire was born and raised in the New Orleans area. Her vocation is centered on her love of Christ and the call to spiritual motherhood, which she lives out through her work in ministry, teaching, and accompaniment. She currently works as a project manager with the Loyola Institute for Ministry, teaches in Loyola University’s undergraduate Religious Studies department, and is the host of the podcast Flourishing Sisterhood, which shares the stories of religious sisters in the South.
Claire holds a Master’s degree in Theology from Notre Dame Seminary and is an alumna of St. Mary’s Dominican High School and UL Lafayette. A parishioner at St. Agnes Church, she enjoys West Coast Swing dancing, baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her seven nieces and nephews. She looks forward to sharing with you stories of God’s providence in her life and how the Holy Spirit revealed her spouse to her!
