Celebrate the lives and memories of loved ones by dedicating a Light of Love.Join St Richard's Hospice for its annual Lights of Love Service, a special opportunity to remember and celebrate the life of someone you love.
This year, the two Lights of Love services will be held at Worcester Cathedral on Friday, 20 November, at 2.30pm and 7pm. Both services will feature music, readings and moments of reflection as we honour the memories of those we miss.
The 7pm evening service will be followed by the Lights of Love tree switch-on at The Spire at 8pm, a moving moment as the tree is illuminated in memory of loved ones.
After the switch-on, attendees are invited for tea and coffee at Heart of Worcestershire College from 8.15pm to 9pm, offering an opportunity to come together and share in remembrance with others.
The services and lighting of the Lights of Love tree are open to all and are free to attend; you do not need to confirm your attendance at either of the services or the switch-on event.
If you are unable to attend the lighting of our tree in person, you can watch this live on St Richard's Hospice Facebook page.
Make a Lights of Love Dedication https://srhlightsoflove.dedicationpage.org/2026
As part of Lights of Love, you can dedicate a light in memory of your loved one. By making a donation and dedicating a light, you will celebrate someone special while helping St Richard’s Hospice provide expert care and support to patients, families and loved ones across Worcestershire.
Every dedication is a lasting tribute and a reminder that the people we love continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
