Tuesday, Sept 15 – 7:00 PM Welcome Cocktail Evening

Métropolitain Brasserie – 700 Sussex Drive

We’ll kick things off in style with a relaxed evening in the elegant Paris Room and Raw Bar. With its Parisian-inspired décor, warm lighting, and classic brasserie atmosphere, it’s the perfect setting for what will be the first time many of us have seen each other in 50 years.

We’ll have exclusive use of both rooms, giving us plenty of space to mingle, reconnect, and wander between conversations while enjoying oysters and other canapés, drinks from the private bar, and a soundtrack of great ’70s music.

Yes — we’ll have name tags (complete with our yearbook photos!) to help everyone reconnect quickly.

It promises to be a lively evening of laughter, recognition, and rediscovering old friendships.

Tickets: $45

Alumni only

Wednesday, Sept 16 – 11:30 AM Reunion Lunch

The Heart & Crown – 67 Clarence Street

After the excitement of Tuesday night, we’ll gather the next morning for a relaxed lunch at The Heart & Crown in the heart of the ByWard Market.

Established in 1992 and often called “Ottawa’s Irish Village,” The Heart & Crown stretches a full city block and features multiple cozy pubs and bars under one roof. We’ll have our own private area with two bars and plenty of space to spread out, plus access to a sunny outdoor patio if the weather cooperates.

You’ll be able to order your own lunch directly from their menu, which offers globally inspired Irish favourites and hearty Canadian classics. Coffee and tea will be available, and there will be lots of time to continue conversations from the night before and reconnect with classmates you may have missed.

It’s the perfect comfortable low-key setting to keep the good times rolling on our second day together.

Tickets: $10

Alumni only

Thursday, September 17 – 7:00 PM Final Night Celebration – Live Music!

The Rainbow – 76 Murray Street, ByWard Market

We’ll finish the reunion with a bang at the legendary Rainbow — one of Ottawa’s most beloved live music venues.

With its intimate, no-frills charm and reputation for great music, The Rainbow has long been a favourite gathering place for musicians and music lovers alike. You’re going to be dancing to the music of , a nine-piece band with a terrific brass section known for their high-energy covers of Motown and classic rock favourites. In other words — bring your dancing shoes, because this band specializes in keeping the dance floor full.

Unlike the first two events, this night is open to spouses, partners, and even your adult children. Once our alumni registrations are in, we’ll also invite other Pius alumni from the 1970s — and possibly even friends from Immaculata’s Class of ’76 — to join the party.

With a capacity of about 180, it should be a lively, fantastic crowd and a truly memorable way to close out our reunion.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to CHEO (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario).

Tickets: $30
