Voting is a right, and it is essential that all adult citizens have the right to vote. To this end, St. Paul's members and friends—including our African Nationals and all others—are invited to join together to vote early in-person on Sunday, October 18. As our African National worship concludes, we will meet in the parking lot and carpool from the church to Lindale Mall to vote. We will leave St. Paul’s at 2:50 p.m. and arrive at Lindale Mall by 3:00 to vote alongside African Nationals who are citizens of the United States. Consider coming out for some of the African National worship that day, too! This opportunity for us to act out loving our neighbor and demonstrate our faith in the public square is coordinated by St. Paul’s, Escucha Mi Voz, and Interfaith Alliance of Iowa. We are inviting others to join us, too, and similar actions will happen in other counties on this day as well. Join us as we vote together!
