Neighborhood priorities. Every level of government. One shared conversation.Join Councilmember Anika Bowie for Ward 1’s 2027 Budget Conversation—a first-of-its-kind gathering for our ward, centered on neighborhood-driven issues and engagement across every level of government.
We’re inviting federal, state, county, school board, Metropolitan Council, and district council representatives to hear directly from residents and connect our budget decisions to the priorities our neighborhoods identify.
Our district councils and neighbors help set the priorities. Our government partners bring their roles, resources, and responsibility to the conversation. Together, we’ll explore how coordinated investments can support housing, public safety, youth, libraries, rec centers, and the services we depend on.
