THE TIME IS HERE FOR HOLIDAY SHOPPING!! We are so excited to be hosting another Holiday Bazaar. Join us for 2 great days of shopping, where your donations and purchases help fund many missions that we have at St. John's UCC.
Our missions include:
- The Blessing Box, a 24/7 accessible food pantry on our N. Main Street enterance.
- The Paper Angel Closet, a program where you can get cleaning supplies, health care supplies like toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and deordant products periodically.
- Free Community Meals, which happen every 3rd Wednesday of the month in our lower level Fellowship Hall.
- Community Gardens, a dedicated program during the growing season that provides free produce to local community members.
And even more!
As we head into the winter months, our missions become more vital to caring for Boone County.
Starting October 1st, you can drop off donations inside the doors from the parking lots between 6 PM and 8 PM. If you are inside the building already, we are placing items in the Work Room off the Fellowship Hall in the lower level.
We recommend items including:
- Wreathes
- Decorations for the holidays (Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas)
- Homemade crafts and projects (Knitted hats were popular!)
- Gift ideas
We will also have Raffles, a Cafe, and Bake Sale during the event!
If you are dropping off baked goods, please put them in the kitchen only within a day or two of the sale. We do not want items to go stale. We like the baked goods by the individual items. However, if you can donate an entire pie, those are popular and go fast.
We hope to see you join us and have a good time!
