Featuring a fully live twelve-piece band boasting some of Ireland’s top session musicians and fronted by American singer Monte Thompson whose voice, mannerisms and appearance resemble the Boss so much that critics and die-hard fans alike are raving.
Monte “Bruce” and his Dream Street Band will be performing a jaw-dropping forty-song set selected to please the hard-core ‘tramps’ and casual fans alike.
Leading the whole show, veteran rocker Monte Thompson Aka: “Bruce", is as American as it gets. Born in Washington D.C, raised in Colorado and touring from his former home base in North Idaho, U.S. Navy veteran Monte has been a performing musician from the age of fifteen. From busking in the streets to touring in original rock bands Monte has shared stages with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, The Wallflowers and Smashmouth. His ability to capture the sound of Bruce's vocal power and nuances are uncanny. Adoring calls of "Bruuuuuuce!" (often mistaken for booing from those not in the-know) can be heard ringing out at shows as fans express their stunned appreciation of Monte's accurate portrayal of The Boss.
The Dream Street Band is comprised of 11 top-shelf session musicians who have worked as sidemen with many top domestic and international artistes.
