Dive into the wonderfully nostalgic world of junk journaling.
About this Event

Junk Journaling is the marvelous accumilation of found things, personal art and unique ideas - chaoticly layered into a visual journal that doesn't demand perfection, and instead, celebrates your unqiue vision and journey.

In this two hour session, participants will start by being prompted to make some colourful marks and backgrounds for their pages, before being set loose on our impressive collection of book cut outs, stickers, coloured paper and punches, stamps, washi tape, and more.

And while this is very self led creativity, where prompted we'll share techniques for layering, composition, creating pockets and interactive elements, with the goal of helping them create something truly unique.

Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike, this workshop is a chance to play with paper, experiment with mixed media, and fill your journal with colour, texture, and charm. Leave with a collection of completed pages, new creative skills, and plenty of inspiration to continue your journalling journey at home.
If your young person has a special interest which you feel would make their junk journal shine, please feel free to let us know about it on the booking page so we can try to source some inspiration for them on the day.

We can't wait for a fun morning filled with arty junk!
