The latest entry in our ongoing Nightcap Table series, our Spring Picnic is a follow-up to July's sold out event, A Winter High Tea in the rainforest.
This time, we're all about slowing down and making the most of Nightcap Ridge’s 67 acres. Eat, drink, wander the rainforest trails, then return to your reserved table whenever you like. Stay for an hour or the whole afternoon: there are no time limits, and it’s one sitting a day with just 60 guests on site.
Bloody Good Food Co. is renowned for spectacular grazing platters, packed with organic local produce:
- local cured meats and salami, fresh baguettes and farmers market fruit
- Local cheeses from Nimbin Valley Dairy and Cheeses Loves You
- Pickles, relishes, chutneys, dips and marinated vegetables, all made in-house with Northern Rivers produce
The bar is open all afternoon, with local wines, beer, select cocktails and artisanal sodas, served by your hosts and Nightcap owners, Adam and Nick.
Garden Graze: $90 per person (limited to 20 guests per day)
A pre-boxed grazing platter, one glass of beer, wine, bubbles or a soft drink on arrival, and a picnic basket with a blanket and cushions. Find your own secluded spot under the trees and let the afternoon find you.
Ideal for couples and smaller groups who like to roam. Wet weather option: a reserved table and chairs in the Palm Room.
Palm Room Premium: $130 per person (limited to 30 guests per day)
Beautifully styled grazing boards, one glass of beer, wine, bubbles or a soft drink on arrival, and a premium rainforest view reserved table in the Palm Room. Perfect if you like your creature comforts in a beautifully styled Insta-worthy setting, curated by in-house event stylist Adam Powell. Graze on local produce, go for a wander, then settle back into your armchair for another glass of wine. Easy access to bar, bathrooms and other creature comforts.
VIP Outdoor Table Experience: $160 per person (limited to 16 guests per day)
Beautifully styled, abundant grazing boards, plus one glass of beer, wine, bubbles or a soft drink on arrival. Our most immersive experience: Enjoy it all on your own private table by the lily ponds, set up under the umbrellas. Celebrating something special? This is your chance to dine in the rainforest at Nightcap Ridge, at a stunning table curated by in-house event stylist Adam Powell. Wet weather option: a premium reserved table in the Palm Room with ample views of the rainforest.
