About this Event
Spring Open Morning
Join us this spring at the Age UK Brighton Hub for a welcoming open morning bringing together customers and local partners to focus on health, wellbeing and living well with pain.
Many people in later life experience ongoing aches, pains or long-term conditions. In fact, chronic pain affects a significant proportion of adults in the UK, with rates increasing with age. This event will spotlight practical, everyday ways to manage and live well with pain, from gentle movement and self-care techniques to local community support and services available here in Brighton.
We're opening our doors to both customers and partners, creating a friendly space for connection, shared learning and collaboration. It’s a chance to explore our Brighton Hub, meet local providers, discover what support is available, and feel more confident about accessing help.
What to Expect:
- Discover a range of local services – including Public Health, MSK, The Living Well Programme & Pathways to Health Community Acupuncture, all here to support you in living well and managing pain.
- Chat with Age UK’s Social Prescribing team and explore how personalised support could help you feel your best.
- Enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where you can connect, ask questions and feel at ease.
- Treat yourself to plenty of tea, cake and nourishing bites while you explore everything on offer.
We'd love for you to join us, and, why not bring a friend or colleague that hasn't visited our hub yet.
