Spring family workshop - Birds, Nests and Eggs

An interactive family workshop inspired by the birds of Holland Park for children aged 4+.
About this Event

During this workshop for children aged 4+ we will (weather permitting) go for a walk to observe birds in our woodlands. Whilst in the woods we will try to build a giant nest for us all to fit in, and collect natural materiaIs to make our own small nests and birds.

Back at the Ecology Centre using the natural materials collected we will make our own small nests, a clay bird and paint clay eggs to take home.

Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

We may get muddy in the woods so please don't wear your best clothes, and please note the paths can be very muddy. Wellies, walking boots or shoes that are ok to get wet and muddy are recommended.

Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day.
