Join us as we learn about planting bulbs in the fall for spring blooming! Go beyond the usual tulips and daffodils and think about some of the smaller or lesser known bulbs that can provide years of beauty. Speaker Rebecca Finneran spent four decades as a horticultural educator with the Michigan State University Extension Service and helped develop and curate the Grand Ideas Garden, a demonstration garden at the Extension office in Grand Rapids. She will discuss some of the many varieties of spring bulbs and share tips on how to plant and use them in your landscape. Free and open to the public. Refreshments and social time at 6:45, presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. Business meeting to follow.
