About this Event
Spotsylvania Speaks is a community candidate forum created to give residents an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates for Spotsylvania County Commissioner of the Revenue.
Join us for an evening centered on the questions that matter to Spotsylvania residents, from assessments and personal property taxes to taxpayer service, business taxes, transparency, technology, county growth, and the leadership of the Commissioner of the Revenue's office.
Both candidates for Commissioner of the Revenue have been invited to participate.
What to Expect:
Guests will have an opportunity to:
• Meet the candidates
• Learn more about the role of Commissioner of the Revenue
• Hear each candidate discuss their vision, outlook, experience and priorities
• Submit questions before and during the forum
• Hear candidates respond to questions submitted by Spotsylvania residents
• Learn where to find official voting information

Questions may be submitted when you register or during the event. Similar questions may be combined to allow the forum to address as many community concerns as possible.
Questions should relate to the Commissioner of the Revenue office, the candidates' qualifications, leadership, priorities, or issues relevant to Spotsylvania residents.

Admission is free. Registration is encouraged due to limited seating.
