About this Event
By sandblasting sheets of glass with weaving patterns/carving texture into transparent or clear sheets to then fill and fuse with opaque glass powders, Jesi cleverly interweaves fiber and glass techniques. Use of vibrant colour paired with bold patterns result in jewellery that is punchy and fun.
“Glass holds and bends light in magical ways, and the idea of weaving with light feels like some kind of spiritual or mythological task.”
