Spooky Speeches In the Pub

The SERC Series is a monthly event where the intellectual community gathers for deep discussions. It is the top location for curious minds to gather in Palm Beach County.

There is always interesting talks and engaging discourse at our events. If you are looking to meet more smart people, learn something, or just have a great time, The SERC Series is the place for you!

October is spooky season and we are happy to announce the return of 'Conspiracy and Spooky Things' - Part Two. Talks will include:

• "Faces of Death: Cultural Studies on Dying and The Afterlife"
• "Cryptid Case Files: The Science Behind The Sightings"
• "Demons, Angels, and Aliens: Why The Supernatural Is Real"

Doors open at 7 p.m. for attendees to break the ice and network. Subsequently, our speakers will deliver presentations on their chosen topics. When you come to a SERC event, be prepared to meet many other passionate people who share your interests about how the world works. After each speech, attendees are encouraged to ask follow-up questions and to take part in the conversation. There will also be time to mingle with the speakers and other attendees after the main event. Make sure to dress for the occasion. Halloween costumes are encourged and the best costume will win a prize for our costume competition!

Light bites and a choice of (1) alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink is included with your admission.
