DeKalb Mutual Aid presents the Spooky Shop & Show '26, the second annual presentation of performance, support, and craft to benefit the DeKalb area Trans and Gender Non-conforming community! Join us for a show of local and regional performers, a market of crafters and artists, raffles of fabulous prizes, a silent auction, a community bake sale, and informational booths for health and services in our area. This is a celebration of our Trans and Queer community, and a chance for you to support our neighbors, friends, and DeKalb as a whole!Trans people have been under explicit attack in our current era, and DeKalb Mutual Aid has created a way to help support them. The Spooky Shop & Show supports a fund to assist Trans and Gender Non-Conforming people access the needs and services that would otherwise be out of reach. Your support can help young Trans folks access services like voice training, medicine and hormone replacement therapy, and mental health services. Trans and GNC folks also have higher than average rates of homelessness and food insecurity, and this fundraiser helps to prevent these issues!
