What's fusion? It's improvised partner dance!
Take moody music, many different dance styles, and an inclusive and friendly group, mix, and invent your own dance to fit the music and your partner. Come to the lesson to find out more!
Fusion makes the most sense to folks who know at least one dance style well, but anyone is welcome who would respect our community.
We swap partners for each dance, so come alone or bring friends!
6:00 Doors open, social dance starts
6:10 Fusion dance lesson - Please come on time!
9:00 Dancing ends - cleanup - socialize more at Jeremiah's
The lesson will use the front end of the ballroom during the social.
If you're new to partner dancing, let us know when you arrive. We can teach you enough basics to enjoy the dance and the community.

DJ ⚡Volter-
⚡Volter discovered partner dance in 2012 via Lindy hop & blues and from then on was hooked! He set about learning as many styles as possible, became obsessed with the music, started DJing all over the continent, and co-founded fusion scenes in Orlando and around Florida. ⚡Volter weaves musical adventures in a way that tugs at dancers’ inner minds and coaxes them to play, connect with the energy, such that they can't help but move to the tunes- and the thunder…
Teacher Steven LeWinter
Steven LeWinter started his dance journey with Middle Eastern Folk Dancing at age 10 and was in a performance troupe by age 15. He started partner dancing during the swing revival in Los Angeles in the late 1990s and began teaching Lindy Hop and Blues in North Carolina 25 years ago.
A professional educator, Steven is known for making difficult concepts and skills accessible to dancers of all levels. He finds joy in dancing and in sharing dance with others.
Steven will be teaching a lesson on partnership and connection.
