Practice witchCRAFT! Cut and paste a collage with spooky curated images and vintage magazines in a workshop led by artist Julia Walck.
About this Event

What Happens in This Workshop?

Your creativity has been summoned! Cut and paste an original collage with curated Halloween-themed imagery and vintage magazines.

In this workshop, Collage Artist Julia Walck will teach you everything you need to know about collage! Julia will give a brief how-to collage tutorial, then you get to cut and paste using her personal stash of vintage magazines along with 7 sheets of vintage Halloween-themed imagery. This is a small class size, so if you have questions as you go, she's around for one-on-one help.

If you have a rough idea for a collage already, great! If not, no worries. PLAY is the best part of collage and the unknown is your friend. An idea will come to you along the way and it will all fall into place!

You'll take home your original collage, complete with a ready-to-frame photo mount. Plus, you get to keep the extra sheets Halloween-themed imagery for future spooky witchCRAFTS.

There will be plenty of treats like wine, candy, and a spooky playlist to keep the creativity flowing.

What Workshop Participants Are Saying

★★★★★ DISCONNECT FROM SCREEN TIME

Julia's workshop was a great way to disconnect from (too much) screen time and reconnect with my creative side. She offered great suggestions, tips, tricks, and techniques I'd never seen. Yes, you can collage at home but Julia helps you think about it more intentionally and creatively, if you want to, and provides a space for relaxing and making whatever you want if you don't!

– Hana N

★★★★★ FUN AND THERAPEUTIC

It was my first time taking a collage workshop and I really enjoyed it! Julia offered all the supplies and gave great tips on how to get started. I found it super fun and therapeutic, I'd totally recommend it!

– Jessica M

★★★★★ BEYOND UNIQUE

Julia Walck’s class is beyond unique, creative and wildly fun! She is a great instructor! It’s a very organized, efficient and easy to follow workshop. Very satisfying to leave with an original one of a kind piece of personal art.
