Spooktacular Night Offers a Behind-the-Scenes Haunted Trails ExperienceThe City of Huntsville Parks and Leisure Department invites families to Spooktacular Night on Friday, October 23, 2026, a special scare-free version of Haunted Trails designed for young children, individuals with special needs, and anyone who would like to enjoy the trails without live scare actors.
Spooktacular Night offers guests a unique behind-the-scenes look at Haunted Trails in a fun, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Because this is a special preview experience, staff may still be working throughout the trails and making final preparations during your visit. Guests may get a glimpse of what goes into bringing Haunted Trails to life!
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Daylight Trail Experience
Enjoy a behind-the-scenes walk through Haunted Trails while there is still daylight! This session is open to anyone who would prefer to experience the trails during daylight hours without live scare actors.
The Daylight Trail Experience will be limited to 30 tickets by pre-registration
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM | After-Dark Trail Experience
Experience the trails after dark and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere without live scare actors. The After-Dark Trail Experience provides a unique look at Haunted Trails at night while keeping the experience scare-free.
The After-Dark Trail Experience will be limited to 30 tickets.
Please Note: Spooktacular Night is a behind-the-scenes preview of Haunted Trails. Our Parks and Leisure team may still be working, testing effects, and putting the finishing touches on the trails during your visit. Some displays, decorations, or areas may still be in progress. We appreciate your understanding as we prepare for the full Haunted Trails experience!
Admission is $5 per person at the gate. Space is limited for both sessions.
