We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome you back for our third Spook 'n' Sip workshop series! 🎃⚡️
Prepare for a delightfully dark evening filled with pumpkin carving, specialty cocktails and a photo op worthy of your finest spooky-season outfit.
Spook 'n' Sip is for those of us who love Halloween; we just prefer it darker, prettier and served with a cocktail. Think trailing ivy, burgundy velvet and dark florals set amongst pumpkins aglow in the candlelight.
You'll enter via the main bar, where you can purchase a drink from our special Spook 'n' Sip cocktail menu, created in collaboration with Eleven Bridges Gin Distillery. Non-alcoholic options will also be available.
When it’s time to carve, head down the hall and step into our delightfully gothic workshop space. Your hosts will check you in and show you to your seat, where you'll have everything you need to create your masterpiece:
- your own pumpkin to carve and take home
- a variety of pumpkin-carving knives and tools
- scoops and mallets
- custom-made punches for creating eyes, mouths and noses
- carving templates and plenty of inspiration
- carving gloves
- tealight candle to make your pumpkin glow
- halloween candy to fuel your creativity
- WillowWood Studios apron to wear during the workshop
There’s absolutely no experience necessary. We’ll guide you through the process from start to finish, with demonstrations at each stage and one-on-one help available throughout the workshop. By the end of the evening, you’ll have your own wonderfully spooky pumpkin to take home.
Once your jack-o’-lantern is glowing, head over to our styled photo area, where Frances will capture you and your creation in all your spooky glory. Halloween finery is very much encouraged, so consider your spooky-season wardrobe officially invited.

Good to Know:
Duration: Each workshop runs for 90 minutes.
Arrival: Arrive around 15 minutes early if you’d like time to order a drink. Guests wait in the main bar until the workshop opens.
Late arrivals: Entry more than 10 minutes after the start time may not be possible because guests must receive the safety briefing.
Drinks: Cocktails and other drinks are purchased separately. Non-alcoholic options are available.
No BYO: The venue does not permit BYO food or drinks, but we've crafted a special Spook 'n' Sip cocktail menu that will delight your senses,
Adults Only: This is an 18+ event. Guests are encouraged to bring ID for the bar.
Enclosed Shoes: Given the pointy nature of the evening, enclosed shoes are required for participation in the workshop.
Take-home items: Guests take home their carved pumpkin and candle. Aprons, tools and other materials remain at the workshop.
Safety Notice
We take the sharp bits seriously. Pumpkin carving involves sharp tools and carries an inherent risk of cuts or injury, so every workshop begins with a safety demonstration and protective carving gear is provided. Please remember that carving gloves reduce the risk of injury but are not cut-proof.
Before carving begins, every guest must read and sign our Participant Safety and Liability Waiver. Signing the waiver—and wearing the provided safety gear as directed—is a condition of participation. Declining to do so will result in your ticket being voided. Any refund rights will remain subject to our published refund policy and Australian Consumer Law.
Enclosed shoes are required, and long hair, loose sleeves and costume accessories must be secured before carving. Please use the tools only as demonstrated and follow your hosts’ instructions throughout the workshop.
Anyone who removes the required safety gear, uses the tools unsafely or appears too intoxicated to carve safely will be asked to stop carving and may be asked to exit the workshop.
Photography Notice
Photography and video are part of the Spook ’n’ Sip experience. Frances will be capturing the evening as it unfolds, from candid moments around the carving tables to portraits in our specially styled photo area.
Because of the intimate layout of the workshop space, we can’t guarantee that guests won’t appear in the background of photographs or video footage. Images and footage from the event may be shared by WillowWood Studios and Eleven Bridges Gin Distillery across social media, websites and future promotional materials. All attendees will be asked to acknowledge this during booking.
Having a posed portrait taken is completely optional—just let your hosts know on the night if you’d prefer to skip the photo area.
