About this Event
Have you ever wondered how the City reduces the volume of untreated overflows (a.k.a sewage and stormwater) that goes into the Spokane River? Now’s your chance to peak behind the curtain and tour a Spokane Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Tank in the heart of downtown Spokane. Learn about the history of combined sewers, CSO reduction efforts, CSO outfalls, and more!
The tour will take place on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Transportation is not provided. Participants are required to meet at on-site at the scheduled tour time. Please note that the tour does require climbing several sets of stairs.
