About this Event
Spit Your Truth Worldwide debuts in Arizona! A featured poetry presentation starring GINNERU, plus a $200 cash prize open mic competition. Hosted by @360THAPOET, Curated by Spit Your Truth. FEATURED POET: GINNERU A Phoenix-born poet, rapper, songwriter, and performer whose words are rooted in real-life experience, growth, and resilience. With a raw delivery and an unapologetic approach to storytelling, he turns the realities of where he comes from into music that reflects where he's going. His sound blends grit, confidence, and reflection, giving listeners both the struggle and the evolution behind the man. For Ginneru, music/poetry isn't about creating a character — it's about telling his story, standing on his truth, and turning experience into purpose. Open mic poets get 1 poem each — no musical accompaniment, and your art must be your own to qualify for the prize. Food by Creole Heat with Chef Izzy — bringing New Orleans flavor to Phoenix!
