On **Saturday, October 10**, the Lemont Area Historical Society invites you to spend an afternoon and evening exploring Lemont’s haunted history, local legends, and unexplained stories with **three very different experiences**.

🪦 12:30–2 PM | Downtown Lemont Ghost Story Walk

Take a walk through historic downtown Lemont and discover the darker side of familiar streets and buildings.
We’ll share local ghost stories, strange encounters, unexplained happenings, and the real history behind some of the places you may pass every day.
Some stories are creepy. Some are tragic. And some may make you look at downtown Lemont a little differently the next time you’re there after dark.
👻 3–5 PM | Voices from the Old Stone Church
Evidence, Equipment & Hands-On Paranormal Investigation

Join Nicole Tito from Ghostly-Voices.com, to learn about paranormal devices and methods, and listen to actual evidence collected during previous investigations of the Old Stone Church.
Then, you'll have the opportunity to investigate the Old Stone Church using a variety of paranormal tools to explore this location and see what you might uncover. See ghost hunting equipment in action, try different methods of spirit communication, and discover firsthand how paranormal investigators attempt to document the unexplained.

Unfortunately, some of our callers may be... spirited.
Step inside the Old Stone Church for **Dead Air**, an original **live theatrical performance staged as a 1930s–40s radio show**, inspired by Lemont’s own ghost stories and folklore.
Our host **Rex Rattlebones** takes “calls” from around town as local characters share tales of ghostly soldiers, haunted buildings, strange creatures, unexplained voices, and some familiar Lemont legends.
Think old-time radio theater complete with microphones, callers, sound effects, comedy, local history, and plenty of things that go bump in the night.
As the show goes on, though, Rex may discover that **not everyone calling in is part of the performance.**
**Please note:** *Dead Air* is a mock vintage radio broadcast performed live for our audience. It will **not** actually be broadcast over the radio or aired live online.
