About this Event
When the lanterns are lit, the spirits come out.
Across Asia, Halloween-season stories are full of spirits: fox spirits, lantern ghosts, hungry ghosts and other wandering souls. On October 30, SoBu Social is bringing a few of them to the bar.
Spirits of the East is an intimate, guided cocktail night for just 50 guests. Every drink is inspired by a spirit from Asian folklore and made with Pacific Northwest ingredients.
How the night goes
You'll arrive to a welcome cocktail and settle in under the lanterns. Then our bartender guides you through three Halloween cocktails, each with its own spirit and story, while small plates come out from our kitchen.

Come in costume
Costumes aren't required, but they're encouraged, and the best one wins.
After the fireworks
We're a short walk from Central Park, so this is the perfect place to go after the fireworks.
