Join me for an evening of drumming, journeying, and connection as we gather for Drumming Up the Spirit, my semi-annual Spirit Animal Shamanic Journey.Spirit Animals, sometimes called Power Animals, have long been understood as spiritual allies that can offer insight, protection, guidance, and strength. During this guided ceremonial experience, I will lead you through a shamanic journey to connect with the animal spirit that presents itself to you -- your true Spirit Animal.
We’ll begin together in an opening circle with shared beverages before using grounding practices to settle into the body. and breath. From there, the rhythm of the medicine drum will help guide us into a meditative state as I lead you through a visualization journey to meet and connect with your Spirit Animal.
After the journey, there will be time to rest, reflect, journal, share your experience with the group, and practice inducing a shamanic journey using drums. We’ll also work with an Animal Spirit Oracle deck to explore additional insight and symbolism connected to the animal that came forward for you.
No previous experience with shamanic journeying or meditation is necessary.
