About this Event
For months we’ve gathered around the Word on our screens, and God has done beautiful things through it. Some things, though, are meant to happen at a real table: face to face, cup in hand.
For the first time, Women of the Word is coming off the screen and into the room.
The Spill the T.E.A. Party is a fall tea party and Bible study, and a chance to meet and network with women of faith. There’s real food, real fellowship and the same Word that has been holding us all along. This one is for the woman who pours into everybody else all week and rarely gets poured back into. Come let us serve you for a change.
What T.E.A. stands for
T – Transformed. Bring the week in with you and leave it here. (Romans 12:2)
E – Empowered. Remember what you carry, and Who put it in you. (Acts 1:8)
A – Anointed. Go home covered, not running on empty. (1 John 2:27)
This gathering’s teaching: Abigail (1 Samuel 25)
Abigail was a woman of wisdom, courage and quick discernment. In one of the tensest moments in Scripture, she stepped forward, spoke with grace and turned away disaster. We’ll go deep into her story and what it teaches us about handling hard situations, speaking up with wisdom, and trusting God when everything around us is unsettled.
