On October 28 at 8 pm, Schallfeld Ensemble will perform Spiegelungen V "...à travers..." – appearing for the first time as a guest at TiB – Theater im Bahnhof, Graz. At the center of the program is the world premiere of Maurizio Azzan's Wasteland – fragile, almost a presence, for six spatially distributed instruments and electronics. This is followed by three acoustic works for mixed quartet: Klein Fountain by Reuben Jelleyman, musica spolia by Katherine Balch, and Tristan Murail's Feuilles à travers les cloches – a reversal of Debussy's famous Prélude.
